About Me
Experience, connection and a whole-person approach
I’m Marianela Datti, an Occupational Therapist and Nutritional Therapist with more than 23 years of international clinical experience.
Throughout my career, I have worked across Argentina, Mexico, South Africa, Spain and Ireland, supporting children, teenagers, adults and families in both clinical and educational settings. In Ireland, I founded and directed Real Connections Therapy Services, where I led an interdisciplinary team and supported more than 1,000 families navigating autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, PANDAS/PANS and other complex developmental and health-related needs.
My approach brings together occupational therapy, neuroscience, Ayres Sensory Integration®, emotional regulation, clinical nutrition and the gut–brain connection. I look beyond individual symptoms to understand the whole person—their development, health, environment, relationships and everyday experiences—and how these elements influence wellbeing and meaningful participation in daily life.
Alongside my clinical work, I have served as a Practice Education Tutor at Trinity College Dublin, contributed as a reviewer for international professional conferences, provided clinical supervision to therapists and developed advanced educational content in both English and Spanish.
I am deeply committed to ongoing learning, evidence-informed practice and genuine therapeutic connection. My aim is to help each person and family feel understood, empowered and supported with practical strategies that are tailored to their individual needs and goals.
